MineKraft: Ultra brings traditional online rpg gameplay to Minecraft with a focus on expanding gameplay options for players who enjoy the combat and exploration parts of Minecraft while simultaneously encouraging teamwork between those players and players who focus on the crafting and building parts of the game. The modpack contains only 16 mods and aims to put a lot more 'survival' into the survival part of the game. You will encounter many new and powerful enemies and unlock spells and abilities that will help you defeat them. The combat is an unholy union of Minecraft, Hexen, Everquest, and Warcraft 3's hero system. You will probably die a lot more often than in regular Minecraft.
The choice of these particular mods might cause issue with other mods that operate in similar areas when it comes to ore generation, certain items, and machinery. We make no guarantees that MK: Ultra will be compatible with any mods not explicitly mentioned here. In some cases, these mods may have been modified from their original form to either have better balance with the other elements of MK Ultra or to introduce new features and integrations with other mods. The official downloads from the mod-creators will not always be the versions used by MK Ultra's launcher.
MK: Ultra is built on top of several mods and will not function without them present. These mods were originally built by DrCyano who has since retired from modding. They are currently maintained by the McModDev Team. These mods were selected for the clarity of their APIs and their open-source licensing so they we don't necessarily have to rely on another development team to ensure our mod is functioning. They have been invaluable in bringing the vision together. Some of their documentation has been duplicated on this site for your convenience.
While the MK: Ultra mod is not necessarily dependent on these mods, it has been built and tested with their use in mind. All of these mods will be downloaded by our installer. The first three of these mods will add more mobs and stronger challenges that will put your mastery of the classes introduced by MK: Ultra to the test. The world will become a lot more dangerous and survival will not be guaranteed even with all your new powers. We recommend Minecolonies just because it is really amazing and brings Minecraft to life in a whole new way. Finally, we recommend Lootable Bodies because it helps better handle player death and gives more of an incentive to try to recover one's corpse.
